Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 29, 2026
JJK Construction Co ("JJK Construction Co", "we", "us", or "our") is a general contractor serving Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through jjk-construction.com (the "Site") and our related contact channels (phone, email, and online forms), how we use it, and the choices you have. It does not cover information collected by third-party services we link to or embed, such as Hearth or Calendly, which are governed by their own privacy policies.
1. Information We Collect
When you use our contact form or otherwise reach out to us, we may collect:
- Contact details: first and last name, email address, phone number, and city.
- Project details: the type of project you're inquiring about and any message or comments you provide.
- Technical data automatically collected by our hosting provider and security tools (such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited), which may also be processed by analytics tools if and when they are enabled in the future.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, or health information through this Site. If you apply for financing through Hearth, that application is submitted directly to Hearth and is subject to Hearth's own privacy practices, not this Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry, provide a quote, or schedule a consultation.
- To communicate with you by phone or email about your project.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- For marketing purposes, but only with your consent where required.
- To comply with applicable law and protect our legal rights.
3. Contact by Phone and Email
By submitting our contact form, you agree that we may contact you by phone or email regarding your project inquiry. We do not currently operate an SMS/text marketing program; if that changes, we will collect separate, explicit consent for text messages and update this Policy before doing so. You may ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any email, using its unsubscribe link, or telling us directly by phone or email.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Currently, this Site only uses essential cookies required for site functionality and to store your cookie consent preferences. We may, in the future, introduce additional tools for analytics, marketing/advertising, or user-experience analysis. When that happens, those cookies, scripts, or similar tracking technologies will only be loaded after you grant the corresponding consent through our cookie banner or the Cookie Preferences link in the footer. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not break the Site. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
Do Not Track and Browser Signals. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal or similar privacy preferences. Industry standards for responding to such signals have not been finalized, and our Site may not automatically respond to DNT signals at this time. You can still control non-essential cookies and tracking on our Site through the cookie consent banner or the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
5. Sharing of Your Information
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
- We share information with service providers who help us operate the Site and respond to inquiries (for example, our email delivery provider and anti-spam/security tools), under obligations of confidentiality.
- If analytics, advertising, or user-experience tools (such as Google, Meta, or Microsoft) are activated in the future, data may be aggregated, pseudonymized, or otherwise processed by those third-party providers according to their own privacy practices and our configuration of those tools.
- We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale of assets.
6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If applicable, California residents may have certain privacy rights under California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Even where these laws may not formally apply to our business, we will make reasonable efforts to respond to verified privacy requests regarding access, correction, or deletion of personal information. These rights may include:
- The right to know what personal information we have collected about you.
- The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing. We do not sell your personal information for money. If we activate advertising or remarketing tools in the future, their use will be subject to your cookie preferences and an updated version of this Policy, along with an appropriate opt-out mechanism.
To submit a privacy request, please contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request and will aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Data Retention
We retain the information you submit for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward (generally up to three years from your last interaction with us), unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You may request deletion of your information as described above, subject to legal retention requirements.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information you provide. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Site may link to or embed third-party services, including Hearth for financing and Calendly for scheduling. These services operate independently and are governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party site or service you access through our Site, including social media platforms such as Facebook and Yelp.
10. Children's Privacy
This Site is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
